I had a fantastic stay at a charming hostel in the Sierra Nevada. The location was perfect, nestled near the jungle and river, with breathtaking sunset views of the Caribbean. The hostal was clean and well-maintained, and the owner from Switzerland was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and there was even a fireplace to cozy up by. I highly recommend this excellent hostel for a memorable stay in the Sierra Nevada.

This hostel is the perfect place to stay in the heart of town, just a short walk away. The warm welcome from the owner and well-equipped kitchen make it feel like a home away from home. The spotless dorms and hot showers guarantee a comfortable stay. Plus, the direct access to the nearby river and free towels for use in the hostel and river make it even better.

Some adjustments could be made, such as implementing a water filter system and eliminating extra charges for card payments.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hostel in Minca called Finca Hostal Bolivar - Casa Maracuya. It was easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in during my 3 months in South America. The owners have really thought about every aspect of the guest experience. The rooms and kitchen were very clean and well-designed. I especially liked the shelves in the bathroom and the terrace. The hostel even had a cute windup music player in the bathroom, which added a nice touch of privacy. The location of the hostel is perfect - close enough to town for easy access, but far enough out to feel like you're in the wilderness. The flexibility of check-in and check-out was also a huge plus. They offer storage for bags, access to showers, WiFi, and the communal areas, so you can still enjoy your travel days comfortably. Daniel, the host, was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for the town and hiking routes. He even helped us book a taxi to the airport at a fair price. I highly recommend Finca Hostal Bolivar - Casa Maracuya for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

I loved relaxing in the hammocks on the porch and taking a dip in the secluded spot in the river nearby. The owner was incredibly helpful in providing information about the area. My stay at the peaceful retreat next to the river was simply amazing. The house was beautifully designed with the traveler in mind, and the room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The hosts were lovely and made me feel right at home. Although there was no Wifi in the house, it was actually a blessing as it allowed me to fully unwind and disconnect. The location in the mountains by the river was perfect for relaxation after a fun-filled time in Cartagena. I highly recommend this quiet retreat for a tranquil getaway.
